""Death Relieved His Suffering.
Mr. Ira B. Ketchum died at his home on North Broadway yesterday afternoon, about three o'clock, after a long and tedious illness. Deceased was sixty-four years of age, and came to Rochester twenty-nine years ago, in that year building the house in which he died. He leaves a wife and one son, who have the sympathy of the community in their sorrow.
About four years ago he was taken ill with a kidney and liver trouble, which though painful and of a nature to keep him confined much of the time, he has borne uncomplainingly.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30, from the house, Rev. Davenport officiating.""
